UNBELIEVABLY DULL TALES FROM THE LIFE OF JO
THE GIST: 22, recently completed undergraduate degree in criminology and political science. Part-time cashier in search of full-time work Recently found a full-time gig as an assistant at a law firm so it can suck my soul away one day at a time. I'm an atheist and relatively anti-conservative, so if either of those things bother you, take a hike!

WHAT FLOATS MY BOAT: There are certain things I am currently obsessed with that will be taking priority in my journal, which will pretty much always be television shows. Once upon a time it used to be Buffy the Vampire Slayer (rest in peace, ILU SMG) but my love, it seems, is fickle, and I am now unhealthily obsessed with Battlestar Galactica. I would totally switch teams and have Starbuck's (and/or Katee Sackhoff's) babies, but barring that I can live with Starbuck and Apollo making babies of their own.

Other shows I'm into include Angel, of course, Veronica Mars (season one), Dexter, Dead Like Me, 24 (seasons 1-4), Xena (ay ay ay ay!).

OTHER THINGS OF FLOAT-BOATINESS: My favourite music includes Chris Cornell (including Audioslave and Soundgarden), Red Hot Chili Peppers, Billy Talent, Dashboard Confessional, Damien Rice, Foo Fighters, Neverending White Lights, Bear McCreary (STFU!).

Favourite actors are Katee Sackhoff and Sarah Michelle Gellar (what's a fangirl to do?), Ryan Gosling, Rachel McAdams, Don Cheadle, Russel Crowe, Colin Farrell and there's more but I can't think of them right now.

Favourite movies include The United States of Leland, The Notebook, The Believer, Half Nelson (are you seeing a pattern here?), Closer, Crash, Gladiator, In Bruges and so on and so forth.

WHAT ELSE YOU NEED TO KNOW: I had the most amazing dog in the world, named Buddy, who passed away in September of 2007. He was handsome and brave and the best friend a girl could ask for. Life can be kind of empty without him around.

favourite OTP, Kara and Lee (i.e. Starbuck and Apollo).
